Environmental Protection Division Teaches Norwich 5th Graders at VLS “Clean Water Day” Event

June 7, 2018

Assistant Attorneys General from the Attorney General’s Environmental Protection Division helped teach a class of 5th graders from the Marion Cross School in Norwich on Thursday, June 6th.  The Division attorneys were part of a “clean water day” event at Vermont Law School and worked with VLS clinical faculty and environmental justice student leaders to teach the 5th graders.

The Environmental Protection Division’s attorneys explained to the 5th graders the role that the Attorney General’s Office can play in improving Vermont’s water quality and ensuring that all Vermonters have clean water to use and drink.

The students, who have been learning about the environment in school this year, impressed the AGO team with their thoughtful questions on clean water and their concern for Vermont’s environment.

Thanks to Vermont Law School for having our team down to present and we look forward to doing it again!
