June 6, 2018

Contact: Christopher J. Curtis, Chief Public Protection Division, (802) 828-5586 & Justin Kolber, Assistant Attorney General, (802) 828-5620

Last September, the Attorney General’s Office launched a year-long, community-focused program to assist property owners who are landlords to comply with Vermont’s lead safety laws. The Landlord Restoration Program provides information and assistance to eligible property owners to restore rental properties with lead paint hazards. The Program focuses on Vermont towns with some of the highest rates of elevated blood levels in children.

The Program runs from September 2017 through September 2018 and is now being offered to assist landlords in Barre. The Attorney General’s Office and Department of Health will host the following community meeting in Barre:

Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 4:00pm

Aldrich Public Library, 6 Washington Street, Barre, VT 05641
