On Wednesday, December 19th, members of the Attorney General’s Office’s Environmental Protection Division spoke to 6/7 graders at the Vermont Day School in Shelburne, Vermont. The Division was invited by the school to speak with the students about environmental laws and how our office works to protect Vermont’s environment on the state-level. The class had already studied how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) works on the national level.
Our AAG’s were impressed to hear how much the students know about the environment. They also asked a lot of great questions about our work during the presentation.
Thanks to all the students and teacher Jamie McQueen for the invitation to come in and visit. We look forward to doing it again soon!
