Since taking office in 2017, Attorney General T.J. Donovan has encouraged his team to engage in wider Vermont community by providing education, legal assistance and guidance on the law to Vermonters.
“I want the Attorney General’s Office to be ‘the People’s Law Firm’” said Attorney General T.J. Donovan. “You’re going to see us out in our community – meeting, teaching and helping the people we serve.”
From the launch of “AGO in the Community” the Attorney General’s Office has done everything from start the first “Lawyers Fighting Hunger Food Drive” in Vermont, to providing legal services to new Americans, to running workshops for seniors on how to spot scams.
