Legal Services Contracts
State agencies must obtain the written approval of the Attorney General’s Office before contracting for legal services. This is required by Agency of Administration Bulletin 17.10, Employment of Private Legal Counsel. To submit a request for AGO approval of a legal services contract, please send an email with the form below and any accompanying documentation.
Pursuant to Bulletin 3.5, requests to modify the State of Vermont’s standard insurance requirements for professional services contracts must be submitted to the Office of Risk Management. Documentation of any Risk Management approval of an insurance modification should be submitted with the below Legal Services Request Form.
