Assistant Attorney General - Agency of Transportation Legal Unit

The Vermont Attorney General’s Office (AGO) seeks a talented and motivated attorney to join the team providing legal services to the Agency of Transportation (AOT), the second largest agency in state government. AOT directly serves all Vermonters by maintaining the State’s transportation infrastructure including highway, rail, and aviation assets, as well as the operations at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The candidate selected for this position will provide general counseling and litigation services directly to AOT.

Communications Intern

The Attorney General’s Office’s (AGO’s) Communications Intern will serve during the fall 2024 semester. The intern will report to the Outreach and Communications Coordinator of the AGO. This intern will spend 5-10 hours/week on this internship. Ideally, the intern would be currently pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Policy, Political Science, Communications, Law, or a similar field. The internship will be largely remote, but may require some in-person work, such as attending press conferences.
