The Vermont Attorney General’s Office has been fighting to end the opioid crisis and hold industry accountable for their role in promoting and profiting from the opioid epidemic. As a result of its efforts, both individually and collectively with State Attorneys General, settlements have been reached against the three largest pharmaceutical distributors, McKesson, Cardinal Health and Amerisource Bergen (“Distributors”), and one manufacturer, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and its parent company Johnson & Johnson (J&J).
This webpage hosts documents reflecting these settlements including: an executive summary, the settlement agreements with the Distributors and J&J, and supporting exhibits.
