The Legal Unit for the Economic Services Division of the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF), provides legal representation to the Division at administrative hearings and in other forums in matters regarding Vermont's Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), the Reach Up, Food Stamp, Fuel assistance and Lifeline programs. The Unit also advises the Division on eligibility determinations and other matters relating to Vermont's various health care assistance programs including Medicaid, Dr. Dynasaur, the Vermont Health Access Program (VHAP), and VHAP-Pharmacy.
